Service
Hynotherapy
I offer a calm, professional, one-to-one hypnotherapy service, using a blend of hypnotherapy, NLP, CBT, EMDR
and the psychology of selves to help you achieve the change you're looking for.
Before we begin any work together, we start with a pre-session call. This gives us the chance to talk through your medical history, the problem you'd like to address, and the outcome you're hoping for. I can make sure hypnotherapy is the right fit for you and that we agree the techniques best suited to your goals.
When you arrive for your session, I'll welcome you and make sure you're comfortable, with a chair and refreshments to help you settle in. We'll have a pre-session chat before we begin, this isn't just a formality, it's there to put you at ease and take away any sense of the unknown about stepping into a new environment. I'll explain how hypnotherapy works, answer any questions you have, and make sure you fully understand and consent to the process before we go any further.
You'll be invited to begin the hypnotherapy itself only when you feel ready, and I will never start without your consent. You remain fully in control throughout you can stop the session at any time, and you won't be asked to talk during hypnotherapy unless you want to. If you'd prefer, I can install an IMR (ideomotor response or reflex), so you can communicate through a subtle movement instead of speaking. I may play music during the session where appropriate, to support a relaxed atmosphere.

I cannot guarantee results, and I do not make medical diagnoses. I will never advise you to stop taking any prescribed medication, and I will always refer you to your GP or another appropriate healthcare professional where needed. If I feel I'm not the right person to help you, I will do my best to refer you on to someone who can.
